Argoshield Universal delivers quality and economy across several engineering applications including pipe and tube joining, light to medium plate fabrication and structural steel works.

Producing a stiff arc with a broad heat flow, Argoshield Universal produces smooth, flat welds with fewer weld defects and with minimal spatter that helps the need for rework and keeps welding nozzles cleaner so reducing the amount of downtime between jobs.

Argoshield Universal is best used when productivity and low levels of distortion are important – such as semi-automatic, automatic and robotic applications in the automotive industry, it's highly adaptable and can be used for dip, pulse and spray transfer.

Argoshield Universal has been precisely formulated for MIG welding sheet and thin sections of steel between 4-10 millimetres thick.

• Ideal for MIG welding sheet & thin sections of steel between 4-10mm thick
• Can be used on mild steel sections thinner than 4mm and thicker than 10mm but care must be taken to ensure the weld integrity is not compromised
• Can be used in light to medium plate fabrication, structural steel works, bridgework, vehicle manufacture & general fabrication
• Ideal for dip, pulse and spray-transfer applications
• Suitable for pipe and tube joining - can be used in all welding positions
